9/11/2026 - Added another event from yesterday.
9/10/2026 - Forgot about another event in August. Added it, as well as updated the 'now brewing' list. Especially since I'm planning a Choco deck for in-person play.
8/31/2026 - Added a new, upcoming event. Added a Smaug Brawl deck for Arena. Reworking the presentation of the MtGA videos, and will be linking more soon.
8/15/2026 - Choco, Seeker of Paradise is now an Arena deck. Still figuring its identity out before I post the deck list, however.
8/14/2026 - Add
itional fixes made to the Arena videos page. Also made changes to the top navigation to make it more mobile friendly.
8/13/2026 - Added a new page to feature videos of some of my Magic the Gathering Arena matches. I have also split the update log to break away to its own page after two months of updates.
8/9/2026 - Updated Hobbit Pre-Release info and added link to the deck.
8/7/2026 - Added Hobbit Pre-release to the scheduled events. Moved Sephiroth from brewing to decks. Added another category to proxies. I also restructured the deck and events pages to make them easier to update and to hopefully look better on mobile.

A Commander of No Consequence

Commander: Ardyn, the Usurper

Mono-Black Demon Kindred

This deck tends to make people discard cards so that I can get access to creatures in their graveyards. However, since Ardyn has a high cost to put into play, there is a lot of 'self-protection' and manipulating the table in the meantime to kind of "prepare" the game for his arrival.

This deck contains no gamechangers, but it does have an infinite combo (Bloodthirsty Conqueror + Marauding Blight Priest)

Commander: Noctis, Heir Apparent

Esper 'Deconstructed' Voltron

Final Fantasy: Unlimited joke aside... Look at 'Voltron' the way a kitschy chef may look at a 'deconstructed' recipe. This deck contains a lot of weapons in it, with the intention of getting them onto the board so that Noctis can grab the most appropriate weapon when he comes back from using Warp-Strike.

Minwu's Angels and Clerics

Commander: Minwu, White Mage

Mono-White Cleric Kindred

This is the deck I had originally wanted to build out when I started building the 'Clerical Error' deck below.

This deck does not contain sorcery cards, as an experiment. ...well, I take that back. It contains one sorcery card. However, I wanted to rely on ETB and triggered effects from creatures to see how this plays.

Jenova Mills Herself

Commander: Jenova, Ancient Calamity

Golgari Mutants Make Me Deck Myself...

A fun mechanic I wanted to play around with. This deck is still experimental. I feel like I'm getting more comfortable with it, but it still needs some work.

It needs some... spice. 🧂

Gladio's Landfall Party

Gruul Landfall

Gladio was a lifesaver for me multiple times in my matches for Final Fantasy's prerelease, so I wanted to honor him with a deck of his own for awhile.

Unfortunately, my first deck for him fell flat on its face, as I tried landfall/weapons. But after the Gladio & Noctis deck I built for the Pride Commander event, I felt that I had a better idea of what to do with him.

This deck was probably the fastest deck I've put together. I'm still perfecting it, but it gets real silly real fast.

Not THAT Sephiroth

Commander: Sephiroth, Planet's Heir

Dimir "Board Wipes for Everyone but Me"

Deck inspired by how much fun I had with this card as one of the commanders of my pride deck.

When I say I'm going to play "my Sephiroth deck," everyone always assume it's going to be the mono-black version.

Doesn't mean the mono-black Sephiroth isn't in this deck, though... ;)

Counter Intelligence (Modified)

A slightly modified version of the pre-con. Instead of using the spacecraft, I have opted to use Kilo as the commander since I enjoy this interaction with the rest of the deck. Unsure of the bracket for this at the moment. Also unsure if the updates are done.

A janky chaos deck that fits the style of Uncharted. Nate steals your shit, has creatures that also steal your shit, with some really silly "uncharted-flavored" card combos to create chaos at the table.

I wanted Vivi and The Emperor in the same deck for some bizarre reason. So I'm working to make that happen.

Out of the number of potential commanders, I found that Inalla worked best. I swear it was a coincidence that she has a FCA card, so I just picked the Kuja version of it.

There are lots of Final Fantasy villains in this deck. And maybe some not-so-villains...

Played at Common Ground games. Commander games played with special commander decks where partner is added. My 'polyship roadtrip' deck is a loveletter to FFXV, since this is the only way you can get all four of the Chocobros into the same deck - a pride commander deck.This feels.... appropriate.

However, I had an idea in my head. Somehow, I created a second deck the morning of and took it with me. The deck played way better than I expected for a quickly kiboshed one. It is also linked below.

Hobbit Pre-Release

Played at Brickhouse Games. Came up with a really fun and fast golgari deck that played cheap creatures with ferocious. I got 2-0 on my first match when the deck played correctly, but it never came together in other matches. Sadness.

Will definitely do more with ferocious in other decks. It was really fun.

MtG: Arena Matches

Various single matches from Magic the Gathering: Arena. All videos are unlisted on my YouTube channel, but they can be watched on youtube via a playlist here.

Custom Proxies

Being a multimedia person, it seemed only fitting that I'd fall into designing my own proxies. I often have multiple copies printed to give away to people when I meet them at events and various game stores. I tend to have a bunch in their own little box.

These images are low resolution and watermarked, as I wish to be able to control the printings of these proxies. If you're interested in any of these, let me know.

Shining Nikki

These proxies are more simple and are being redesigned to have a layout that fits the game's UI. This entire set started with thinking that the art of Leonid's 'Twinkle Twinkle' reflection would be perfect for Rhystic Study.

Trails Beyond the Horizon

This batch started from a joke. These are made using my own screenshots from my playthrough of Trails Beyond the Horizon.

There is also a bonus card, but it's so spoilery, that I don't have it shown here.

Solo Leveling

These need to be reworked before I have them printed again, but after seeing a lazy proxy with Jinwoo, I decided to lean into the series UI and build a card design around it. Once the rework is done, I plan to select more cards, too.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I always see a Guardian from Breath of the Wild when I see the Roaming Throne card.

I decided to make that a reality.

Final Fantasy XV

The various locales of FFXV made it super easy to create a set of land cards from the game. These screenshots were captured using various mods to allow for control over time, weather, positioning, and removal of the UI. These proxies have a unique back with a picture of the Citadel from Insomnia.

Infinity Nikki

I wanted to do a set of land cards based on Infinity Nikki, as well. I felt that something was missing when I made the IN-esque band across the card, but then started adding quotes as flavor text. It made these feel more complete. And I'm even more happy having given some of the wonderful lore and worldbuilding of this series a spot to shine in these cards, as well. These screenshots were taken using Infinity Nikki's photo system and modified slightly in Photoshop.

Infinity Nikki - 5-Star Dresses

This is a relatively large set of land cards: three of each. These lands are based on a bunch of the 5-star dresses from Infinity Nikki. There are so many to use in this, that it turned into the three sets. Two of them using the dresses as is, and a third based on recolors of dresses that haven't been shown yet.

All of the 'shots' in Infinity Nikki were taken by me in-game. So these are outfits that I've pulled on, crafted, or glowed up. These outfits also all use their associated make-up sets, too.

I don't always carry my trade binder on me. However, the contents of my trade binder is always available via Moxfield.

And though they are not immediately offered as trades, I am willing to discuss deals regarding cards in my collection that are currently not in use in a deck.
